[ Physical Description ]Felains are semi-aquatic, cat / reptilian looking creatures. At least in most of their structure. They are androgynous, intersex, anthropomorphic creatures, with the ability to change or morph their bodies into a more "beastly" or "feral" form, though this is reserved for circumstances of danger to flee.
[Basically a way to epitomize their speed and agility]They possess both dermal denticles and a dense coat of fur that helps them keep mostly dry, depending on their variation.There are currently three known variations.
- Fully Furred
- Semi Furred
- Short Furred and or "nakey"The following represents a semi-furred Felian, both in their Anthro and Feral Forms.

Felians are known as many things, but they are mostly known for appearing in masses when thunderstorms and or hurricanes are brewing. Thus, they are known as bad omens.
Felains are not only fast and agile. They are also capable of many other things, such as:
[ Electrokinesis ] Felians can use these abilities almost immediately after they are born. This allows them to absorb, manipulate, generate, and release electrical energy. For example, they can charge devices, emit lightning bolts, and disrupt electronic systems with ease.
[ Mimic ] Felians possess an impressive ability to manipulate their voices, allowing them to accurately mimic a wide range of sounds and voices. They often use this skill to lure prey or to intimidate and scare away potential threats.
[ Venomous ] Though primarily used for hunting and defense, Felians possess a venom capable of paralyzing or immobilizing the specific limb they bite. This venom is stored in specialized glands near their throats. However, a Felian's bite does not always result in venom being released; the expulsion is a controlled action

[ The Hive ]
The Hive, as it is most commonly known, is an interdimensional pocket in which, almost like a mold, it merges and turns seamlessly between biomes.
Basically, The Hive is almost like a microcosm, but at a much grander scale.[ What is the Felian role here? ]
The only way to access The Hive is through portals located through caves. The Felians are like the guards of these portals, both from the inside and out.
They make sure any species not native to The Hive don't go in, most specifically if said species has destructive tendencies.[ Folklore ]
Since ancient times, both within and beyond their homeland, The Hive, it is said that the Felians emerged from a thunderstruck crystal charged with immense power. This, combined with their frequent appearances during thunderstorms and other high-energy natural events, gave rise to their reputation as harbingers of misfortune or, more simply, bad omens. Although modern folk often dismiss these as mere legends, some still hold faith in these old tales.The stories, along with the Felian’s unique role in The Hive, only strengthen the beliefs of those who cling to these ancient legends. As a species, the Felians are dedicated protectors, safeguarding not only the Surge Crystals within The Hive but also those scattered across other worlds. They also take it upon themselves to guard the portals that connect their world with others.The Felians’ connection to the crystals runs deeper than mere guardianship. They have evolved to consume both organic and inorganic matter, making the areas surrounding these crystals not only their homes but also a source of energy and sustenance.In folklore beyond The Hive, Felians are featured in forgotten literature and paintings across worlds. In some, they are depicted as guardians; in others, as shadowy creatures lurking in the night—an image not far from their nocturnal hunting habits.

[ Lifestyle & Society ]
These creatures are known to be semi-nomadic, only staying in particular areas where food and resources are barely scarce.
In many terms, they are or could be considered hunter gatherers. Foraging, hunting and most importantly, working as a unit.
They do not posses a particular gender, therefore gender roles do not apply to them in their society. Rather, they are tasked based on their skill proficiency.[ Symbiosis ]
While Felians tend to keep more to themselves, they are a species that can be described as openly symbiotic. Going as far as offering their aid and care for others of different species.[ As Babies ]
As babies, or more commonly referred to by Felians themselves as Spurts or Flickers, are either extremely hyperactive or exceedingly chill. There is no in-between.
They also lack the ability to mediate and or regulate their abilities, meaning that either randomly or through burst of excitement, might suddenly combust. While they are this young, it is not uncommon to see them without singed fur.
While they are still small, their parents typically carry them everywhere, using their manes, arms, tails, or backs to keep them secure[ Digestive Info ]
Due to many hard conditioned biomes and or spaces inside and outside the Hive Felians have exposed themselves to, their digestive system has evolved to be able to process both organic and inorganic items and matter.
This also applies to their jaw bones and muscles, as they have evolved to compensate for these changes, as well.[ Extra Infomation ]
Felians are a highly progressive species, deeply driven by a desire to learn and expand their knowledge. When they leave The Hive to explore other worlds, they quickly adapt, mastering the languages and technologies of the civilizations they encounter. While they prefer to live in harmony with nature, they also believe in advancing alongside it, striving to develop without causing harm or degradation to their world.
